So, I actually left my cube... where did I go? TJ Max.

Back in my fat days, and so it seems for those that can wear a Misses S, M or L, TJ Max was a great place to find high quality clothing for not a lot of money. If I were bigger, there are still some pretty nice clothes. Or, if I were smaller. My problem? I'm small enough that the size 1X in the fat lady clothes don't fit me right. They are too long, and meant to cover things up and feel too big on me now. The XL's in the misses sizes are far and few between, and the few that they do have are not "work clothes" but rather "fun clothes". Or, they are things that have to be ironed and/or dry cleaned and I don't do either of those things unless the shirt is really, really special - and none of them were.

I picked out a white t-shirt... a sleeveless sweater (to wear over the t-shirt), a dark melon sort of color t-shirt thing, and a light purple polo style sort of shirt except with a zipper placket instead of buttons. These are the ones that "fit". I tried on at least eight other tops, one pair of shorts and two pairs of pants, all of which did not fit. After looking at what I had picked out as fitting, I realized that they were all basically t-shirts. Sure, some were only eight dollars... but they were t-shirts!

I want some clothes!!!!

Oh... and I still have to have big pants. One pair of 16W's with elastic in the waist almost fit perfectly - just a little too tight in the belly so the pockets pulled open. But, in a few pounds, they would have been nice. I probably should have got them. The other 16W's without the elastic, and the 16W shorts were way too small for my belly. It's a long way from a 16W to a 16 misses, and I'm not even in the 16W's yet. WAAAAHHHH!!!!

Anyway, if you didn't get it, I put all those shirts back. I want a wardrobe. Not a randomly selected collection of shirts. I need to go through the clothes in my closet, get the big stuff out of there again and really see what I have and then come up with a plan of what I need.

I need to get a sense of what normal people wear. I need to have "coordinates" - not "outfits". Everything should go together with everything else. Fat girls have "outfits"... you know, where this shirt and this pair of pants go together and nothing else goes with them? Then you have this beaded necklace with matching earrings that matches the outfit and doesn't go with anything else. I don't want to be like that any more... it's too much stuff. I want a coordinating wardrobe.

I need to work on this type of stuff
