I took yesterday off. I'm not telling Hud. It was worth it. I feel so much better today. Plus, I got all the race car pictures scanned in. Now, if I could only have every Wednesday off...

Man...

I was just reading my blog. Can you tell that we were busy with the new car, or what? I went from Jeff picking up the car to getting back from Charlotte. Something like three weeks passed in there.

I just posted the results on the website for this week. I also posted the schedule (which I'm not linking to because that page changes every week). John still hasn't commented on whether or not he thinks we can make all four nights of racing. It's $500 to win on Friday at Danville, $1500 to win at Charleston on Saturday, $4000 to win at Danville on Sunday, and $2500 to win at Brownstown on Monday. It sure would be fun to make them all - and a lot of work too.

Our problem this week...

We had a pretty good week of racing, even though we didn't make the feature. We went up to Fairbury... first time ever there. It was fun. On Sunday, we worked and worked to scale the car until it was perfect. That was a hassle, and I'm very sore, but it was also fun. Okay, so I'm a glutton for punishmunt.

I'm going to try to post more often again.

I found some good racing web stuff yesterday. I also found a guy that wants to get us involved in an MLM deal for legal services as a sponsorship deal. I don't know what I think about that. We're going to call the guy at 9AM tomorrow and find out what he has in mind.

I'm right at that 260 mark on my weight. This morning, I felt really thin and it scared me. I'm normal now. But it was weird. Maybe it was just excitement, but it also felt sort of like anxiousness or something. I don't know, but it does sort of scare me to be getting thinner. I know. Scared... of being thin... at 260 pounds! HA!

Well, they just had pizza brought in for the meeting room, so now I'm starving. I don't know what I'll have for lunch today.

Brian and Kelly's wedding is tonight. I hope the reception is fun. I want to dance, dance, dance with my hubby.

I haven't added something in quite a while again. Last week, John and I were in Charlotte, NC. It was nice and relaxing, but we really didn't do anything. We need to work on the car again now. John's really busy at work - political bullshit has finally hit the power industry (now that they are deregulated). Poor babe. They just can't make a decision there anymore.

But anyway, with him being so busy, that means he's tired, which means that he doesn't really want to work on the car. Yet he tells me to be hyped and stuff so that I'll be excited about working on it. Well, I can't keep up the energy for both of us.

Tonight, he's already decided that he won't be going to VG. So, I guess we'll be staying there on Friday night. I hope that someone comes over to VG to help us out.
